CJ073 - CORONA・M-43 FIELD JACKET

M-43は、襟付き・フロントジッパー仕様の"M-51"へ、さらにフード付きスタンドカラーとベルクロ仕様へと進化した"Ｍ-65"へと繋がる、USミリタリーフィールドジャケットの原点とも言えるモデルです。
野戦服でありながら、どこか洗練されたジャケットスタイルを備えている点も特徴で、歴代フィールドジャケットの中で唯一、フロントにジッパーが付かない釦フロント仕様となっています。
本アイテムは、そんなM-43フィールドジャケットの特徴的なデザインを活かしながら、現代の日常着として再構築した一着です。
エポレットを省略し、裏地の無い軽快な仕立てにすることで、春先から気軽に羽織れるライトアウターとして提案しています。

The M-43 is regarded as the starting point of U.S. military field jackets, preceding later models such as the “M-51” with its collar and front zipper design, and the “M-65” with its hooded stand collar and Velcro closures. Although originally designed as field wear, the M-43 also carries a refined jacket-like appearance. It is notably the only U.S. military field jacket to feature a button-front construction without a front zipper. This piece reinterprets the defining characteristics of the M-43 field jacket as modern daily wear while preserving its original design identity. The epaulettes have been removed, and the jacket is constructed without lining for a lighter feel, making it an easy-to-wear outer layer for the spring season.
