【COTTON TWILL LIGHT】

【CORONA・HUNTING OXFORD】
1920年代のメイシーズのフィッシングジャケットに用いられていた生地を起点に、当時の空気感を踏襲しながらオリジナルで再構築したテキスタイルです。
経糸・緯糸にはナチュラルな弱ムラを持つアメリカ綿主体の混綿糸を採用。ドライで少し粗さのあるタッチがビンテージらしい奥行きを生み出します。
最終工程では特殊樹脂による堅仕上げ加工を施し、本来は撥水性を付与する目的で施された樹脂が、経年変化により徐々に抜け落ち部分的に残った状態をイメージ。長年着込まれた古いワークウエアのような、独特の風合いを再現しています。
This original textile is reinterpreted from fabrics used in Macy’s fishing jackets of the 1920s, carefully reconstructed to capture the atmosphere of the era. Both warp and weft are woven from blended yarns based on American cotton, featuring subtle natural irregularity. The result is a dry hand with a slightly coarse texture that adds depth and character reminiscent of vintage fabrics. The fabric is finished with a firm-setting treatment using a special resin. Originally applied to impart water resistance, the resin is intentionally designed to appear partially worn away over time, evoking the look and feel of aged workwear that has been shaped by years of use.

【MELANGE BROKEN WOOL】
撚り杢を使用したブロークンツイル組織のウール生地。
ブロークンツイルには、目立ちにくい綾目や、ツイル特有のねじれの少なさ、ソフトな肌触りといった特徴があります。
This wool fabric is woven in a broken twill structure using heathered, twisted yarns. Broken twill is characterized by its subtle twill lines, reduced tendency to twist compared to conventional twill, and a notably soft hand feel.

【CORONA・BEACH PILE】
今はもう存在しない、アメリカ・BROWN'S社の冬用ワークウエアテキスタイル「ビーチクロス」をリファレンスに、CORONAクラシックスの定番素材としてオリジナルで再構築したテキスタイルです。
梳毛糸と綿糸を用い、9ゲージの経編ラッセル機で高密度に編み立てた二重構造のニットクロス。表面はコットンウールによるニットらしい表情を持ち、裏面はウールを起毛させたパイル状の組織にすることで、高い保温性を備えています。
目の詰まったしっかりとした編地ながら、適度な伸縮性があり、着用時にはニット特有の立体的なフォルムが生まれます。
This original textile is recreated as a CORONA Classics signature fabric, drawing inspiration from the winter workwear “Beach Cloth” once produced by the now-defunct American company BROWN’S. It is a double-layered knit fabric, densely constructed on a 9-gauge warp-knit Raschel machine using a combination of worsted wool and cotton yarns. The face features a cotton-wool knit with a distinctively soft, textured appearance, while the reverse side is brushed wool formed into a pile structure, providing excellent insulation. Despite its tightly knitted, substantial feel, the fabric retains moderate stretch, creating a three-dimensional silhouette characteristic of knit materials when worn.

A nylon tussah fabric made with Taslan-processed yarn, finished with a wrinkled texture and a water-repellent treatment. Exceptionally durable, it features a crisp, dry hand with a distinctive rustling feel.

【MILITARY BACK SATIN】
1950年代・US ARMY M-51フィールドジャケットに使用されていた生地を意識して作られたバックサテンで、程よい肉厚とゴワッとした洗い上がりの雰囲気が特徴です。
この生地は硫化染されたもので、染料の浸透を促すため、あらかじめシルケット加工を施しています。そうすることで硫化染特有のぼんやりとした色合いに仕上がり、尚且つ堅牢度を高めています。（堅牢度とは、生地の色の変わりにくさ、色落ちのしにくさの度合い）
This back satin fabric was developed with inspiration from the material used in the 1950s U.S. Army M-51 field jacket. It is characterized by a balanced weight and a firm, slightly coarse texture that emerges beautifully after washing. The fabric is sulfur-dyed and undergoes a mercerization process prior to dyeing to improve dye penetration. This results in the softly muted tones unique to sulfur dyeing, while also enhancing colorfastness. (Colorfastness refers to the fabric’s resistance to fading and color loss over time.)

A fabric developed to faithfully reproduce the Wool Melton used in U.S. Navy peacoats. While it carries a substantial weight and rugged durability, it also conveys a refined presence — a Melton rooted in military heritage. Its appeal lies in the quiet dignity that resides within its practicality.

【COTTON CHAMBRAY】
2006年のブランド・ファーストシーズンから使い続けている定番5ozシャンブレーの生地。経糸をロープ染色し、旧式の軽布用力織機を使用して製織しています。力織機を使用することで、薄手ですが洗い後もしっかりとしたハリコシが残ります。
This is a standard 5oz blue chambray fabric that has been used since the early days of the brand in 2006. The warp yarns are rope-dyed and woven using an old-fashioned power loom. By using a power loom, the fabric is thin but retains a firm tension.

【TWEEDY COTTON CHECK】

A cotton tweed woven with three-tone twisted yarn — a three-ply yarn twisted from three different colors into a single strand. This medium-weight check fabric is finished with a light brushing on the surface, giving it a warm appearance and a soft, comfortable hand.

A leopard print applied to a lightweight yet crisp cotton ripstop fabric. The fabric choice is inspired by the transitional military culture of the 1960s, when hunting and animal patterns were sometimes adopted as improvised camouflage during a period of experimentation and evolution.

【TIGER STRIPE・COMBAT FATIGUE PATTERN TWILL】
1960年代のタイガーストライプ迷彩"JWD"パターンを忠実に再現したオリジナルファブリック。このパターンは、ベトナム戦争初期にCIDG（民間不正規戦グループ）やアメリカ軍の偵察部隊・特殊部隊といった限られたエリート部隊で使用されたことで知られています。タイガーストライプは米軍の正式なMIL-SPEC規格ではなく、MDAP (Mutual Defense Assistance Program) による現地生産プログラムのもとで製造された、アジア・ローカルメイドのカモフラージュ。ベトナムをはじめとする密林地帯での至近距離戦を想定し、実践に即した機能美を備えています。世界中に数多くのカモフラージュが存在する中でも、この60年代のタイガーストライプは特別な存在です。その背景には数々の物語があり、70年代の英国ロックバンドThe Clashのボーカル、ジョー・ストラマーが愛用していたことでも知られています。単なる"ミリタリー"という枠を超え、カルチャーと時代を横断する象徴的なパターンです。
An original fabric faithfully reproducing the 1960s Tiger Stripe camouflage “JWD” pattern. This pattern is known for having been used in the early stages of the Vietnam War by select elite units, including CIDG (Civilian Irregular Defense Group) forces, as well as U.S. reconnaissance and special operations units. Unlike official U.S. military MIL-SPEC camouflage, Tiger Stripe was produced locally in Asia under the MDAP (Mutual Defense Assistance Program). It was developed as a regionally made camouflage specifically suited for close-quarters combat in dense jungle environments such as those in Vietnam, combining practical function with field-tested performance. Among the many camouflage patterns found around the world, the 1960s Tiger Stripe stands apart. It carries with it countless stories and a cultural legacy — notably worn by Joe Strummer of the British rock band The Clash in the 1970s. More than just “military,” it is a symbolic pattern that transcends eras and cultures.

【FEATHERWEIGHT CASHMERE JERSEY】
気温差の激しい内モンゴル自治区の山岳地帯で育ったカシミヤヤギ。その中でも希少な最高級ホワイトカシミヤ（繊維長38mm～ 繊度14～15ミクロン）を使用した、12ゲージ/天竺編みジャージー素材です。少し撚り回数を強めにした細番手の紡毛素材で、綺麗な編み目になるのが特徴です。
This 12-gauge jersey knit is crafted from the highest-grade white cashmere, sourced in extremely limited quantities from cashmere goats raised in the mountainous regions of Inner Mongolia, where temperatures fluctuate dramatically. The fibers measure 38mm and above in length, with an ultra-fine micron count of 14–15 microns. Spun as a fine-count woolen yarn with a slightly higher twist, the fabric forms a clean, well-defined stitch structure, resulting in a refined and elegant finish.
